Senate Joint Resolution 13

Yesterday, the House took up Senate Joint Resolution 13 which would have allowed the voters of Texas to decide to limit the number of terms for state-wide elected officials. Unfortunately, I was in the minority of Representatives voting for this measure, and it did not pass. We need to place limits on career politicians, and I look forward to working on this issue in the future.
